Wykin Community Park is a 14-acre green space in Hemingford Grey, Cambridgeshire, featuring a children's play area, skate park, football pitches, tennis courts, and a multi-use games area. The park also has a community centre, walking trails, and a pond with a surrounding wildlife area.
This is a lovely park for all ages. There's a range of play equipment in a separate fenced off area for both preschool and primary school children, and there's also gym equipment for over 14s. Just across from the play area is a large basketball court with hard standing, and a large field with paths all around it for walking, with trees and hedges all around and plenty of bench's, it's a great area for dog walking and ball games. There's also a good sized car park as well. My family have enjoyed this park for many years and lots of people enjoy it :)
Nice park with play area for kids and enclosed football/basketball court. Seemed popular for dogs. There was dog poo left in places by owners therefore lower rating.
Large open space that is popular with dog walkers and occasional kite flyers. Dog owners tend to be a fairly friendly lot and say hi to each other and be aware of dogs that need distance too. After heavy rain and for most of the winter the middle of the field does tend to flood, but enough room left on edges to exercise dogs.A fenced off area for ball games and one for small children .both signed with " keep dogs out" (which unfortunately isn't heeded) ,have play equipment and basketball hoops to keep the youngsters amused. There is neither a picnic area or public toilets so your visit can be "cut short". it's pretty basic but does what it's meant to.
Lovely large area for children to play, wirh lots of good quality equipment. Free car parking. Large playing fields. Great space.
Water logged and has been all year pretty much. Council need to flatten it a little as it's sunk in places. Still the dog loves it...
Two decent enclosed play areas at this park. One for bigger kids and one for smaller kids. There's also a football/basketball court. The only downside is that is not lit and is a bit dodgy at nights.
