Green space including woods, meadows, a playground, sports amenities and a farm with horse-riding.
Fantastic experience at the park today. Our first time. Skate park is massive so is the play area with gym. Full of trails etc. Fantastic to take kids to. Well cleaned and looked after. The only downfall is a farm near the park, so prepare for a bit of a smell! Cafe shut earlier and we didn't manage to check the farm as it was closed by the time we decided to go.
Expansive park with lots to do for: flowers, vegetable and fruit enthusiasts; walkers and runners; cyclists with a range of specialist areas for BMX and mountain bike riders. There are play areas for children and a small farm with a quaint shop. A place that cannot be exhausted in one visit!
Park was super clean and well looked after. Great play area, stuff for all ages. The farm was definitely the highlight, lovely cute little farm for the little ones.
We had our Grandchildren for the weekend. It was super busy as there was a food festival on. We enjoyed the park and the free farm. Disappointed that the little cafe was shut. But never the less we enjoyed our visit
Loved the gated gardens. Popped into the shop for some food for the chickens. Must have caught the cashier on a bad day as she was quite rude and staring at me in a disgusted look as I giving my son a wipe for the smell of the cows. I had a sunflower lanyard on my bag which you would think speaks for itself however it won't stop me coming back to feed the animals and maybe pointing out the struggles of autism to her next time. Overall good visit.
New Order in the late summer sunshine. What's not to like? Well organised event, would go to a live event again no problem
