This tidal island features the ruins of St Dwynwen's Church, a lighthouse & views of Snowdonia.
Wow such an amazing place to visit the sea is so blue and the views are amazing. There was a little island full of penguins and wild horses. Can't wait to visit again!!!
Its inexplicable how a simple beach headland can be such a delight. We are very lucky with the weather, and the walk towards and from the lighthouse was very enjoyable. The area surrounding the lighthouse itself was bathed in Mediterranean level of sunlight and blown with just the right amount of wind. We took eighty-eleven kajillion photos which garnered infinity amount of likes. I like this place.
One of my favourite places. Usually park at Pen Cob and walk through Newborough forest to the beach.
Lovely coastal walk with some interesting buildings. Great views.
Absolutely gorgeous! Walked the beach trails up to the lighthouse and lookout point. Make sure to watch the tide before you head across or you may get stuck on the island. It's a lovely walk and dog friendly too!
This place never misses. Except when you can't get into the car park because it's full
