Simply stunning. The views are breathtaking, gardens smell and look amazing, staff are friendly and helpful and the picnic was gorgeous. A beautiful day out! Definitely worth a visit (or more, we are planning going back next year)!
Very interesting and didn't realize how many types lavenders there are, a bit windy but good for some fresh air and great pictures of the scenery. The cafe also has an interesting menu and my wife was braver than me and had a earl grey tea with lavender and a lavender scone, a lot to see if you like this kind of day out and all for PS6.00 entry fee. Plants are a bit on the expensive side if you want to buy one from there but great looking.
Went there after 15 years for the second time. The smell of lavenders is so soothing but I did feel that the lavenders don't smell as strongly as they used to. Before as soon as you entered Terrington you would get the smell of lavenders. The cafe is on the higher side but you can bring along your own picnic basket.
Wonderful lavender farm in the Northwest! There are large pieces of lavender fields with other beautiful shrubs all great for photos. It's also got a souvenir shop, a great tearoom serving lavender scone and drinks alongside other light meals such as sandwich, jacket potatoes, quiche and a selection of cakes.
Very good customer service and staff are really helpful & friendly. We booked a picnic for a family of 4 and the food are very nice and more than enough for 2 adults & 2 kids . It was raining so we struggle to find a picnic spot but later we found one near garden area under the gazebo. Kids loved it.We really had a great time. I definitely do recommend this place.
Mixed Review I visited the lavender attraction today, and while I had an enjoyable time, there were a few disappointments that stood out. **Positive Highlights:** 1. The flowers in the maze area, particularly the sensory and spiral gardens, were beautifully arranged and a delight to stroll through. 2. The food was fantastic. 3. Even with a full car park, the attraction itself felt pleasantly uncrowded. **Negative Aspects:** 1. The staff serving food and drinks seemed uninterested and lacking enthusiasm for their jobs. 2. The food and beverages were all served in cardboard containers, including the rather pricey coffees. 3. The outdoor cafe area had only four umbrellas, two of which were broken and unsightly. This was an issue on a sunny day, as families with children were struggling to find a shaded table. 4. The snakes and ladders area, a popular feature for kids, was overgrown and messy, much like the maze. 5. The lavender sections were somewhat scattered. 6. The children's park appeared quite worn and in need of revitalization. 7. The reflection pool was in need of a little TLC too. Despite these issues, my wife and I did enjoy our visit. With a bit of care for the gardens and improvement in staff engagement, this could easily become a must-visit destination.
