Have a WILD time at the UK's No.1 walk-through wildlife adventure! Yorkshire Wildlife Park is home to some of the most amazing animals on the planet, from the largest collection of Polar Bears in England, to majestic Lions, Tigers, Giraffe, Rhino and so much more!
We attended Yorkshire Wildlife Park yesterday with our daughter and our two grandchildren, aged 5 and 6. We had a wonderful day, and it's something we will re live over and over again. We were so impressed with the space the animals had, and we were so lucky to see so many wonderful animals. There were plenty of places to eat, have a drink, and rest up. We spent the entire day there and still didn't see everything, and we will definitely be back in the future, good health permitting. Thank you to all concerned for a great time.
An absolutely incredible place, easy to get to, lots of free parking and very reasonably priced to enter. The animals have large enclosures with plenty of enrichment to stimulate them, and they are well kept and looked after by the keepers. If you have children there are many play areas and lots to do in school holidays to keep them entertained. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced with lots of places to eat and rest. The toilets are kept clean and there are lots of them around. You can camp, attend concerts, and participate in wildlife experiences. There are additional costs associated with this, but again, the prices are reasonable. Yearly passes are available to buy with lots of discounts for around the park. A great family day out, fabulous for photographers and a great place to chat to others who love animals.
Went as a family during the school holidays. Cost PS76 for a family of 3 & well worth the money. Enclosures are nicely spaced out so you don't feel on top of everything & plenty of room for everyone to move about. Lots of little play areas & picnic spots as well. A nice selection of food outlets & plenty of toilets. Wish this was closer so I could visit more!
Superb park. So spacious, both for visitors and the animals. I highly recommend a season ticket if you are planning on a few visits per year. I'm a once a month visitor and find different things to see and do every visit. The theme nights are fab too. All in all a fabulous, well run park to be enjoyed by the whole family. One tip... if you are at all unsteady on your legs, hire one of their mobility scooter in advance. It's along walk around if you do the whole park and let's face it, why wouldn't you!!?
We've been a few times and every time is amazing. So much to see and the animals are clearly well looked after. Huge enclosures and plenty of facilities. Great day out for the whole family.
Great day out for the family. We loved every minute of this, and all the animals were out except the rhino, but that had just had a baby, so it's understandable. The cafes and shops are great all around the park and the staff are the friendliest.
