Woodpecker Wood is a 130-acre woodland area located in the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire, England. The wood is primarily composed of beech trees, with some oak and ash trees scattered throughout. A variety of wildlife inhabits the wood, including deer, badgers, and numerous bird species, including woodpeckers, from which the wood gets its name. The wood features several walking trails, including the 2-mile Woodpecker Trail, which takes visitors through some of the wood's most scenic areas. The trails are well-marked and well-maintained, making it easy for visitors of all ages and abilities to explore the wood.
